# Loan secured against the 🏡

I have a certain strategy in mind: release equity from 🏡 and buy Bitcoin.

_(and do not touch it, cold storage, hardware wallet, multisig, not gambling on shitcoins)_

It has been carefully thought through and I’m capable of executing but the difficulty is the availability of a financial products given my personal circumstances.

**OR**

Find a **private investor**. We still have freedom of speech and freedom of transacation between parties.

This blog has a goal of finding **private investor** by showing “social proof” and outlining the proposal in more detail.

### What could go wrong?

**House price down:** just wait.

**Bitcoin price down:** just wait.

**House and Bitcoin price down:** just wait.

**Death:** our families / lawyers / associates should know the backup plan.

**Jail and assets seized:** instantly executable sell option? I’m not planning to go to jail or get my assets seized but that’s the most extreme downside scenario I can think of 😇

**Me running away with the assets:** multisig, such as Gnosis Safe, not possible to touch without agreement of all parties.

I have genuine belief that this can happen. Still looking for someone local 🇨🇳 to spread the word but not that obvious given Chineese stance on crypto. It could be someone from China living abroad, even better when they speak English :)
