GLITCH Residency 2022

**GLITCH is a diverse group of avant-garde artists, hackers and visionaries working at the intersection of art, technology, and societal transformation.** Artists and programmers use glitches to hack reality, exposing the invisible structures of technology, AI, and digital environments.

Set against the backdrop of a historic château in the French countryside, GLITCH 6: Exaptation aims to create an immersive residency focused on experimentation and new forms of creative expression. It’s a rare opportunity to step outside the traditional creative process and explore what can happen when art and technology collide. No set deliverables or expectations - just an immersive experience to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

**The GLITCH 6 Residency Award is designed to help make that opportunity more accessible by covering travel expenses associated with attending the residency.** By reducing some of the financial barriers that can come with an international creative experience, the award allows the selected creator to focus more fully on the work, the community, and the ideas they develop while in residence.

For DCP, this award reflects a broader commitment to supporting emerging creators not only through financing, but through meaningful opportunities to connect, experiment, and grow. Some of the most exciting creative work begins when artists are given the space to take risks, explore unfamiliar territory, and collaborate with people outside their typical circles.

GLITCH sits at the exciting intersection of art, technology, experimentation, and emerging storytelling, making it a natural extension of DCP’s mission to support the next generation of creative voices. We’re excited to help a creator take part in this unique international experience.
