# Introducing Chubby Kaiju NFT By [decimalLard2](https://paragraph.com/@decimallard2) · 2022-05-07 --- Chubby Kaiju NFT collection consists of 10,000 randomly generated cute and chubby Kaijus (Gen1), and the Kaiju world is divided into three countries that seeks for Music, Money, and Power peacefully now… For Gen1, Chubby Kaiju is born as a citizen of a randomly chosen country. With over 400,000 different combinations that can be generated, people might question about their Kaiju’s country and rarity. To indicate which Kaiju is rare and which country does the Kaiju belongs to, we used a simple system to navigate around your Kaiju’s rarity and country by background color and skin type. The Kaijus that belong to the country for music/money/power exhibit plain/dot/line skin correspondingly. And for rarity, the redder the background color, the rarer they are. Chubby Kaiju came to fruition 6 months ago by the founder’s (Yosep) little brother in his sketchbook. The art was actually designed for an assignment for the art school his brother attends. Yosep found the rough version of this cartoon Kaiju is mind-catching and instantly fell in love. Working as an artificial intelligence researcher, Yosep has been getting chubby by being in front of the monitor all the time. He was surprised at how relatable his little brother’s character really was, and decided to start a Project in NFTs as a hobby. As with the world’s economic circumstances, it was something to pass time and enjoy. Yosep had never previously known or bought NFTs, so this is a new space he was onboarded to by one of his work colleagues. Having owned crypto for a long time, he is naturally interested in the DAO Governance and has now started obsessively scrolling through Opensea, like all of us. The perfect storm of his brother’s art, onboarding into NFTs, and this new idea of decentralized governance ($SOS) he took the idea to pen and paper and began to work. As Yosep hails from the country where the capitalists dominate, the power fostered by a DAO is awe-inspiring for him. Especially, he was motivated to build fairer and more efficient DAO, following the spirit of OpenDAO. He found it somewhat difficult to navigate the Space himself, so he connected with a few people from his country, Greg & Ayaan, our supporting developers. Having to navigate Twitter, Opensea, Discord, Telegram, it was difficult to convey and communicate the nuances they have created, so they found a great communicator, JAMPZER, and took him on to help them moderate and communicate. That has now turned into much, much more, and I am developing relations and strategies for the Project! Now our team works very closely over all of the different strategies and plans, and more than 20 moderators and supporters are behind us. We execute and deliver. We are here with passion, hunger for growth, and the (maybe naïve) idea that we can create a difference and improve on our current ways of doing things. Chubby Kaiju has been successfully developing as the first NFT Project building an “Advanced DAO within OpenDAO” with the ability to participate in the $SOS ecosystem in democratic manner. This will be done by the newly introduced “Indirect DAO” concept; the Kaiju world is divided into three countries, and the country representatives participate in the governance of Kaiju world and $SOS ecosystem on behalf of all Kaijus. DAO Treasury empowers DAO to grow and expand in various directions. With the smart contract code built by design to offer security to the people minting, the function is included that automatically ensures ETH transfers to the “DAO Treasury” throughout the minting stage. The DAO Treasury will be funded with 100 ETH, which will subsequently buy $SOS, enabling the Treasury to exercise its right to vote as a Top 40 $SOS holder within their governance votes.
