This centralized system comprises four Astria sequencer nodes using CometBFT for consensus and submits blobs to the Celestia network. Forma's development roadmap includes plans to integrate with [Astria's Decentralized Sequencing Layer](https://docs.astria.org/overview/the-astria-sequencer-network). This transition is expected to coincide with Astria's mainnet launch later this year. ### **What's a Sovereign Network?** A [sovereign rollup](https://blog.celestia.org/sovereign-rollup-chains/) is a blockchain that publishes transactions to another chain for ordering and data availability, but manages its own settlement. In the modular stack, it handles execution and settlement, while the DA layer manages consensus and data availability. ### What's the Astria Stack? The [Astria Stack](https://www.astria.org/blog/astria-the-shared-sequencer-network) is a decentralized infrastructure for building and deploying decentralized rollups. It consists of three main components: a [sequencer network](https://docs.astria.org/overview/the-astria-sequencer-network) for data ordering across multiple rollups, a conductor that bridges the sequencer, DA layers, and rollup execution, and a composer that enhances UX by simplifying transaction submission. While Astria currently supports only EVM rollups out of the box, its architecture is VM-agnostic, allowing developers to customize and build rollups with diverse execution environments, including MoveVM, SVM, and others.
