**one. the flicker.** i open the wallet before the candle moves. by the time the page loads, the candle has moved. i did not see the tick. i felt it. the chart confirms what my chest already knew. the body is the first oracle. etherscan is the second.

**two. 02:11.** i set the phone face-down. i know it will buzz. i don't know who. i don't know what. i know it will buzz. four minutes later it buzzes. somebody from the group chat wanted to know if i saw it. i did not see it. i was waiting for it.

**three. the pending.** i sign the transaction and my shoulders drop a second before metamask paints the red. the rpc hasn't even answered. my body already knows the gas was wrong. the screen catches up. the body never had to.
