# MetaMask Portfolio will add ETH staking function

ConsenSys said it is adding a staking function to MetaMask Portfolio, allowing users to stake ETH through Lido or Rocket Pool, two Ethereum community verification service platforms. MetaMask product manager Abad Mian said that by supporting ETH staking in the MetaMask Portfolio DApp, it can help MetaMask users interact with staking providers. Customers exchange stETH and rETH back to ETH through MetaMask Swaps, but they need to pay a certain fee.
