Dawn of DED
What is this all about anyway?
DED is a token on BASE that launched as part of the clanker zeitgeist in November of 2024.
It was a spur of the moment inception celebrating the spark of a dream, and the decisions, energy and DEDication it takes to bring it to life. DED celebrates wonder, curiosity and the pursuit of something bigger... something more, as well as the challenges and set backs along the way.
But of course DED is more than that.
DED is community - a supportive instantiation of positivity, optimism and humor.
A community about getting after it and seizing opportunities... about livin' and bein' DEDly.
DED Tokennomics
The total supply of DED is 1,000,000,000.

When DED launched via clanker a pool was created on Uniswap which at the time of this writing has upwards of 355M DED.
Token Locks
Two long term token locks have been created for greater stability and assurance:
50M 2 year investor time lock
50M 2 year linear team lock
The investor time lock will unlock all 50M DED at once after 2 years while the linear lock is continuously streaming 50M DED over a 2 year period.
Community
When DED launched on clanker the image supplied was a DEDspark.
A DEDspark is an idea, a dream, a beginning.
They can flicker, seeming to flit in and out of being... but they are never truly gone.
With intentional decisions, energy and dedication, they can be brought to life and claim their destiny... with DED.
To commemorate the inception of DED, the DEDspark Genesis mint was launched on highlight. Minters were included as part of a series of DEDdrops to help seed the community.
