# The Web3 Toolkit

As the Web3 space has grown and matured. The tools available and coming continue to grow. I love finding a new tool or website and trying it out. Anything that can give me a 1% edge over the competition is worth it.

I have compiled a list of my top/favorite/most used apps and websites. One of my mottos in life is that if I have to do something more than 3 times, I try to find a way to automate or optimize it. This has led me down the rabbit hole presented to you here. Enjoy!

If you’re interested in seeing all the twitter accounts and website links for each project, I compiled a [twitter list](https://twitter.com/i/lists/1502112254891900954) here that you can follow and dig more into.

Gem

[Gem](http://gem.xyz/) has become my daily driver for almost 99% of my secondary NFT purchases. The UI is so clean, it refreshes faster than OpenSea. Thus allowing you to snipe listings before they even make it to OS. The sweep function is built for max degening. Not to mention it has a nice bulk order gas saving function that actually works. This came out after Genie XYZ and I like it much more. it’s more useable and extremely fast. It also allows you to bulk list items for sale as well. There are rumors of a token airdrop so next time you plan to buy something try [gem.xyz](http://gem.xyz/).

Compass
-------

![much data](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/a93cb8a401c3113ef2ff5977ac6e13f1f6f142559b7fe11526d3584de57455d7.png)

much data

[Compass](https://compass.art/) is one of the best and most promising NFT Analytics sites available now. The data is a bit delayed and it is still in beta testing, but I think Compass has the potential to become the next Nansen or Icy Tools. It parses and catalogs so much data. The app also has one of the best wallet trackers I’ve seen. It shows you everything you would want to know, ROI, unrealized/realized gains/losses. Top holdings, etc. This is one of the highlights of the app as of now.

DEX Screener
------------

I’m sure everyone has used or seen Dextools for viewing shitcoins or anything not on TradingView. But [DEX Screener](https://dexscreener.com/) is the next generation of DEX charting. They will show you charts for almost any coin on any chain (minus Solana for now). The UI is very clean, and the bar on the right gives so much pertinent and useful info that is much easier to see/find than Dextools. and you can also open up the trading pair on whatever is the DEX of choice right from there as well. I use site daily.

OpenSea Watchlist
-----------------

I check [OpenSea’s Watchlist](https://opensea.io/my-watchlist) page more than anything else. You can add any project on OS to your Watchlist and see all this data in real time. I usually filter by floor price. It’s amazing for getting a bird’s eye view of all the projects you own, or want to own. I use them when I’m scoping out a project I want to enter and track how the floor moves or is stagnant. The 24hr % and 7d % are extremely useful as well. They are not completely accurate but the general info is still valuable to me.

Context

[Context](https://context.app/) is the king of wallet tracking (stalking). You can setup notifications for any wallet and get sent a notifications to a personal telegram chat. It can be a little overwhelming if you follow a lot of wallets. But it’s very useful to catch hot mints early if you see multiple wallets all minting the same thing.

Alpha Discord Bot
-----------------

![this reminds me of the SheiKra](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/1908002f4e0a0ce205b270758b503df75d70688e1fc34d634e6fdeb2773bdba9.png)

this reminds me of the SheiKra

[Alpha](https://www.alphabotsystem.com/) is one of the most useful and easy to use discord bots period. It lets you type in chart data and shows you a snippet of trading view data. it’s extremely useful and I use it daily. It’s free to setup as well. It has commodities, bonds, and stocks as well.

Watchtower
----------

![](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/7cfe150b11bac13463ddb2022d2292f8150930e98af29bce388562e4337ac696.png)

[Watchtower](https://watchtower.cc/) lets you make boards of projects & wallets. It’s nice to setup a custom dashboard of projects you follow and can set filters for price ranges. Example, if you want to see all Clone X purchases above 16.69 eth. you can see that. Also lets you track and make boards for individual wallets. It’s a very new app and it’s still in beta, but fully functional.

Flips Finance
-------------

![notice the whole chart is green? that's not a mistake](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/ae8dcd4bd7c031959a09bc91fe583a63a943cc0f92ceffc75681e825baea4e21.png)

notice the whole chart is green? that's not a mistake

[Flips Finance](https://www.flips.finance/) is Trading View for NFT Projects. Let you see chart data for floor price, holder count, and number listed. They don’t have every new project, but almost everything you need. It’s very nice to see this type of data and see trends in holder numbers and listed quantity.

Dune Analytics
--------------

![more number == more money](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/e4135abea6a89c859cea6eeca525614c89db9e67c0c6dbf14f34ae47ef2c71bf.png)

more number == more money

[Dune Analytics](https://dune.xyz/browse/dashboards) allows shadowy super coders to make insanely useful DeFi and NFT dashboards, the possibilities are endless with Dune, and thankfully people share their dashboards which can be viewed for free! check out the site and if you’re looking for a specific data set odds are someone has made a dashboard with it.

NFTNerds
--------

![](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/929260b7cacf954ed1a1ea73145f806f6977db3eeaa910d350019dda44f69d76.png)

[NFTNerds](https://nftnerds.ai/) is a more functional version of Compass, this has been on the market a little long as is less buggy. Being able to see every buy, sell, and listing as charted data is incredibly useful. NFTNerds also lets you insta buy NFTs directly from the project page. I believe it may even be faster than gem.

Genie
-----

![](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/e0a411f2c42a0830fb6c14cdc4fa48732dfeb73a369083dd8b83b5d75eb820f2.png)

[Genie](https://www.genie.xyz/) was the precursor to Gem. This was pivotal in the NFT world, this was the first functional app that let people sweep hundreds of eth worth of NFTs in 1 transaction. I would say this fundamentally changed the game for NFTs. Before if whales wanted to buy large volume it would be very easy to see, and people would scurry to adjust price or delist. Being able to truly sweep the floor gave whales teeth to really buy projects with considerable size. As you can see the UI is much more simple and it still works, but I prefer and still use Gem.

Blocknative
-----------

![](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/c9bc31384afa2ee8973ff3f871415d543ce1f14a2e7f2cfea09d1532758afec1.png)

[Blocknative](https://www.blocknative.com/) is the best ETH gas extension on the market. It works, it’s quick, and it shows you accurate data; what’s not to love?

Frame
-----

![DARK MODE](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/9c39453abe49466f77bc6fae6efa64844db0b658109c9a34ec567fa74ed15e6a.png)

DARK MODE

[Frame](https://frame.sh/) is an alternative to MetaMask. I downloaded this to try the other day. The UI is equally enjoyable and annoying. I’m not fully set on it yet, but I enjoy seeing competitors and alternatives to MetaMask. Frame has a full functioning Mac App instead of being a browser extension, and it is fully compatible with any website that has MM connection. It also fully supports nearly every single hardware wallet on the market, Ledger, Trezor, and Lattice.

In Closing
----------

The Crypto/NFT space is all about exposure and trying new things. The more you try the more adept you become and can add tools to your utility belt. I don’t use all of these on a daily basis, but I know they are available and at my disposal when I need them. My top 3 tools would be Gem, DEX Screener, and OpenSea Watchlist. I love nerding on out on this stuff, so if you find something cool send me a DM! I’m always down to try new stuff. Until the next post!!!
