# Announcing seiyanETH: A Sei-Native ETH LST

We’re excited to introduce our first Branded LST, [seiyanETH](https://www.seiyaneth.com/) (sETH), now live on Sei.

### What is sETH?

sETH is a Sei-native ETH LST that delivers DeFi’s highest ETH staking yield to Sei users and builders. By minting sETH, users gain access to the yields available to apxETH holders on Ethereum mainnet—without leaving the Sei network.

### How do I mint?

Users can mint sETH through the seiyanETH UI available [here](https://www.seiyaneth.com/). Once there, select your origin chain (Ethereum or Sei), input how much ETH you’d like to deposit, then you’re done!

_Note: If you’re minting from Ethereum, you’ll have to wait a little longer for your seiyanETH to make its way to Sei. This process is tracked in the UI._

### How is the yield distributed?

sETH is an “index token” designed to appreciate in value against ETH over time. When users withdraw back to ETH, the accumulated yield is included automatically. No need to track rebases or wrap tokens—just use sETH in DeFi on Sei as you normally would.

### What can I do with it?

We’re actively working with the Sei ecosystem to integrate sETH more deeply in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our X account for follow on announcements.
