Today we’re excited to launch superETH, an ETH LST built for the Optimism Superchain, launched in collaboration with Ink. superETH delivers DeFi’s highest ETH staking yield (~4% APR) to the Superchain’s expanding ecosystem, starting with Ink, Optimism, Base, and Mode. Note: As part of this launch, we’ve disabled minting of iETH and encourage iETH users to migrate to superETH. Details below.Why superETH?superETH is the evolution of iETH, Ink’s previous LST, upgraded to serve as a unified staking asset for the Superchain. By consolidating around superETH, users and builders can consolidate their efforts around a single, unifying LST for the Superchain. Ink will be the home base for superETH.How to Mint superETHUsers can mint through the dapp here. Select your origin chain (Ink or Ethereum), input the amount of ETH you’d like to deposit, select your destination chain, and confirm.Staking UIOnce staked, you’ll begin earning ETH staking yield.
