# Tutorial: How to claim your OP Airdrop.

If you’re eligible you’ll see some confetti burst out and it’ll look like this. 🎊

Eligibility criteria

*   Used Optimism
    
*   Repeat OP user
    
*   Bridging to other L1s
    
*   Donating on gitcoin
    
*   DAO voting
    
*   Multisig signer
    

### Once you’ve determined that you’re eligible you’ll need to bridge some ETH to Optimism.

Go to [https://app.optimism.io/bridge](https://app.optimism.io/bridge)

Input how much ETH you’d like to bridge. I’d recommend bridging 0.03 ETH.

Make sure it says “⚡️ Warp speed” at the bottom and confirm the transaction.

When I bridged it cost $1.91 in transaction fees and took about 2 minutes to get the ETH on optimism.

### Now that you have some ETH on optimism for gas you can claim.

Head back to the bottom of the page on

[https://app.optimism.io/airdrop/check](https://app.optimism.io/airdrop/check)

and hit “Start your claim process” you’ll have to take a short quiz that’ll teach you about Optimism then you’ll be prompted to choose a delegate. I choose GFXlabs but you can change this later. Finally hit claim and delegate and confirm the two transactions.

Congrats now you’ve claimed OP!

The gas fees are a lot cheaper than ETH so you can experiment with using different apps.
