Volodymyr Zelensky is Time Magazine’s 2022 Person of the Year.It’s another year, another new chapter, another revolution Earth has taken around the sun. We all have grown older. Some wiser, some regrets, some pain. But definitely more experienced. In 2022, so much has happened. Crypto has burnt to the grown, but the Blockchain and innovation will survive. NFTs have scammed so much out of so many, but it will evolve and survive in the form of higher utility and purpose.Adam Neumann, previously from Wework, raised a combined $400M+ for his new companies Flow and Flow Carbon — and no, they are not related.Startups like Fast and FTX have combusted in spectacular fashion, but founders like Adam Neumann will still be able to raise millions. Generative AI tech like ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion will consume the world and revolutionize content creation like never before. What we understand of content today will be dramatically different tomorrow. We have to be prepared to rethink what we read and see on social media and be ready to adapt. The mission hasn’t changed. StartupX is still 100% focused on building the startup ecosystem.The winners of HyperHack, the hackathon that started HyperX.We are helping founders to build and grow. We are helping startups ideate and change the world. We are helping governments to seed, support and supplement the ecosystem. We are helping to excite, agitate and generate momentum for startups to build solutions to real world problems. We are helping to connect and nurture the different players in the ecosystem. From the VCs and the founders, to the governments and the users. If you share the same sentiments, let’s talk. Personally, it’s all about giving back and building. I always believe if at least one person can benefit from my posts, learnings or articles, it’s worth it. Years of ecosystem building has taught me that you never know where life can take you, so be open minded and always be willing to help.That’s why I love builders. People who are ready to pounce on opportunities. People who have a bias to action. Who would never take no for an answer. Who will do whatever it takes to solve problems. Those that have a bias to action will go further, faster. So take action. So, the golden question is: will 2023 be better than 2022? Undoubtedly, unreservedly, unquestionably YES. Even if it’s not going to be, let’s make it better.
