What is Noēsis?
---------------

**Noēsis** is a decentralized protocol for submitting and evaluating reflections — short fragments of thought — and scoring them not by votes or likes, but by:

*   **ψ** – _Clarity_: Does it express an adequate idea?
    
*   **ΔP** – _Emotional Power_: Does it elevate or depress the reader's power to act?
    
*   **C** – _Causal Influence_: Does it ripple into other thoughts, other lives?
    

Each reflection is:

*   Pinned to **IPFS**
    
*   Stored on **Ethereum**
    
*   Scored and visualized in a living **epistemic graph**
    

It’s not a social network. It’s a **thought protocol**.

Why It Matters
--------------

Ethereum has decentralized money, identity, and governance — but **not truth**.

We still have no protocol for:

*   Recognizing clarity over popularity
    
*   Rewarding understanding instead of noise
    
*   Tracking how thoughts evolve, recurse, and combine
    

**Noēsis fills that gap** — with a formal structure derived from Spinoza’s Ethics, mapped into smart contracts, and rendered as an open epistemic layer for Web3.
