# Secure ERC20/ service, P2P escrow trades 📖

Escrow’s full peer to peer system, is secured with verified & audited contracts. Here we’ll run through how the system works… Under the hood

1.  Go to Escrow & initiate a new transaction

2\. Input your trade details/ what your service is for - a deadline, the value of the transaction & generate an escrow trade

3\. Once you’ve generated your Escrow. A transaction ID & Escrow link will be generated.

When you press “Continue”

You’ll be forwarded to the escrow trade details page. From 1 - 4. The Escrow is created (the past 3 steps on this article), once its been signed by both parties - the funds will be locked until services are delivered or unless a withdrawal dispute is initiated.

4\. Finalize your deal with the other party or the Escrow team in the Escrow chart. Every Escrow trade you initiate, will have a unique chat, where the contents are entirely confidential between you, your provider/ payee & the Escrow team to ensure contents are delivered.
