# USDe on Gate.io

We are excited to share that USDe will be widely integrated throughout Gate.io.

The integration will include the following features:

*   USDe/USDT spot pair.
    
*   USDe as rewarding derivatives margin collateral enabling users to earn rewards while trading perpetuals & options.
    
*   USDe as an “Earn” product.
    
*   Native staking of USDe for sUSDe within the Gate.io platform.
    

USDe as Rewarding Derivatives Collateral
========================================

Gate.io users using USDT & USDC to margin derivatives positions presently don’t earn any rewards with the value accruing solely to the issuers. This feature enables Gate.io users to receive up to 45% APR while using USDe throughout Gate.io.

Rewards on USDe greatly enhance the capital efficiency for all Gate.io users. The ability to margin derivatives positions across multiple centralized exchanges, using a single rewarding stable asset, USDe, unlocks many potential trading strategies & ideas.

We believe users earning rewards on stable margin assets will fundamentally reshape trading in the space.

Native Staking of USDe for sUSDe
================================

Gate.io users will be able to natively stake their USDe for sUSDe all within the Gate.io platform.

This represents a first in the space enabling users of a centralized exchange to interact directly with DeFi, and to earn on-chain rewards, without having to leave the safety of the Gate.io ecosystem.
