Tidal and Hashdex announce that they will start Bitcoin spot ETF trading after fund conversion is completed BlockBeats News, March 27, according to Reuters, an environmental community group filed a lawsuit against Stronghold Digital Mining Inc (SDIG.O) on Tuesday, claiming that the company’s Bitcoin mine in northeastern Pennsylvania utilizes waste coal and old Tires burn energy, causing nearby communities to be contaminated with dangerous chemicals. The group, Save Carbon County, filed the lawsuit in state court in Philadelphia, naming Pennsylvania as a defendant. Members of the nonprofit group, who live near Bitcoin mining sites, are seeking compensatory and punitive damages from the company and a court order for the state to stop allowing the contamination to occur.
