# Beautiful Frangipani

Today I decided to find out what kind of new wave of trees is blooming all over the city. From a distance, it looks like daffodils that have climbed onto branches. Up close, it is true that the shape is different, but the color is very close. I took a close-up and put the picture on Google 🤗 So now I know that these cool, not very tall trees represent the Plumeria family. According to Wikipedia, they are named after the French botanist Charles Plumier (1646-1704). Another name for these plants is "Frangipani", in honor of the Italian who created perfume using the scent of these flowers. This is a typical tropical ornamental plant, which in Netanya contributes to the color scheme of the city 😊 By the way, such a tree also grows in the garden of our house (on the last photo) 🤗
