# Ir Yamim district

🎉My 100th post on Mirror will be about the Ir Yamim district. This is one of the new and "rich" districts of Netanya. There are new high-rise buildings (I counted over 30 floors), the largest shopping center in the city (Ir Yamim Mall), and, in fact, this is the modern district, very different from the central part of Netanya.

True, the beach is still in a kind of embryonic state - small and without breakwaters. The coastal zone is still under construction and improvement, so this part is better 🤷‍♂️.

Well it's certainly less green than the main streets in our area. There are nice well-maintained lawns, but not so many big old trees, mostly newly planted young trees.

The walk turned out to be really fun. It felt like walking through a new city 🤣 At the end we walked around the shopping center a bit and had a coffee in one of the cafes. Loved the neighborhood by the way 🤗
