The main part of our trip was devoted to castles in the central part of France, which are located in large numbers along the Loire River. Having settled down in a private hotel in the small town of Beaumont-en-Veronne, we visited five completely different castles, each of which has its own zest and is worthy of a separate detailed story.Our hotel "Logis Manoir De La Giraudière", located in a house of the end of XIII century"Château d'Ussé" - the fairy-tale castle of Sleeping Beauty"Château de Chinon" - a dilapidated medieval castle"Château de Brézé" - a castle with two underground floors, built on the site of French troglodyte caves"Château de Brissac" - the highest castle in France, which is also a private residential property"Château de Chenonceau" - women's castle on the water
