📖 The Haghtanak Bridge (or Victory Bridge) is a large highway bridge over the Hrazdan River. It looks quite mighty with semicircular arches and powerful columns. It was opened on November 25, 1945 (although it looks like a more ancient structure) and named in honor of the victory of the USSR in the Great Patriotic War. The length of the bridge is 200 meters, width - 25 meters, height above the river level - 34 meters.

The adjacent territory is extremely strange. There is no river as such, but rather a stream enclosed in a wooden frame. Among the trees one can see a strange wasteland with some buildings. What it is, I never realized. On the right you can see a soccer stadium, which for some reason is absent on Google map 🤷‍♂️ On both sides of the bridge there are huge cognac factories: behind the bridge there is Ararat, and from the side of the city center there is Noi factory.
