The lack of technologies and governance such as interoperability, security and collaboration model hinders the adoption of blockchain. The world economic forum and the global blockchain Business Committee plan to draw blockchain technical standards worldwide in 2020. The main findings include lack of clarity because the terms are still inconsistent, the scope of blockchain standards is unclear, there are significant gaps and overlaps in standards - setting landscape, and inconsistency across attributes. Obviously, the standard setting plan of blockchain is still in its early stage, and the technology is developing faster than the standardization framework.
