[Surah Yasin](https://faizeislam.net/quran/surah-yasin/) narrates about the punishing actions of non-believers and their children as well as generations to follow. The surah affirms God's sovereignty and the reality of Resurrection. The surah is classified a Meccan surah, with its primary theme is to explain some of the core beliefs of Islam, specifically the belief in life after death. ## Surah Yasin is the Heart of the Quran This hadith demonstrates the significance Surah Yasin is because the heart is an essential organ in the human body. And the metaphorical phrase Prophet (PBUH) created encourages everyone Muslim to take a look at this Surah, as he will be reading the heart of the Quran. If we try to find out what the purpose behind being 'the heart of Quran", we'll find this Surah Yasin covers the main issues of Quran and the presence of Allah (SWT) the existence of Allah (SWT), a story about some messengers, the signs of His Oneness, the Day of Judgment as well as defense of our Prophet (PBUH) and more. ## Importance Of Surah Yasin Surah Yasin is the 36th Surah of the Quran. It was given to the Prophet Muhammad in Mecca which is why it is an Meccan (Makki) Surah. It is comprised of 83 verses, 730 words, along with 368 alphabets. It is divided into five sections. The name of the place is also is derived from two characters (Hurrof Al Muqattat) and Allah knows the best of its significance. SubhanAllah! In fact, Allah is the Knower of All things. ## Benefits of Reading Surah Yasin **Multiplied Rewards**: Many scholars have said that the reward for reciting Surah Yasin in full is as much as going through the Holy Quran ten times. The more rewarding reward from Allah is a key reason why Surah Yasin is considered extremely important. **In forgiveness from Allah** If a person is a believer and recites Surah Yaseen with a clean heart are sure to be forgiven for their sins by Allah even when they're asleep. **Spiritual Guidance** The people who recite this surah often get guidance from Allah in everyday matters. It reduces the fear and anxiety, and gives the person the confidence to get through difficult times: **Peaceful passing:** It is suggested to give Yaseen shareef to the dying person since it aids them in their peaceful move on to the next stage. ## Advantages Reading Surah Yaseen in the wake of Fajr The reading of Surah Yasin is a great way to gain benefits that could be given to the reader once he/she reads the Surah. Furthermore the [prophet Muhammad (pbuh)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad) stated that he could provide specific benefits. One of these instances is following Fajr or in the morning. ## Beneficial Effects Reading Surah Yasin 7 times: ## Advantages of Surah Yasin 41 times: It is said that a specific Surah is beneficial to an issue or reward, as same as saying reading this Surah or any other Surah like The Benefits of Reading Surah Rahman Every every day at these moments affects our lives in an aspecific way, it needs an Ayah from Qur'an or hadiths of the sunnah or at a minimum, some of the companions' sayings to be accepted. In terms of how the investigation went, we could not find an Ayah or hadith that would support any of the above. On the other hand several Muslim experts have stated that specific numbers have an effect however they are based on their own and their sheikh's practical experiences, but not upon any source of the Shari'ah. ## How long does it take to master Surah Yasin? From this Ayah we can understand that memorizing any Surah from Quran is made easy to Us because of Allah (SWT). With regard to Surah Yaseen, it's considered one of the easiest Surahs in the Quran. It's not longand the Ayas are fairly easy to learn and retain. The rest is contingent on how driven the individual is and the amount of effort they are willing to take on. If you want an average amount, we could say that it takes 5-10 days to master this Surah Then comes the revision, which is vital.
