# Why artists should re-learn about NFT art.

I have been asked so many questions about NFTs and their definition is ever-changing every day.

Being from a visual design background, I am faced with questions surrounding the creation of NFT and the art itself. Some debate that the art of NFT should not overpower the art itself.

By looking at things from a new perspective, NFTs have changed how people perceive digital arts. Artists who embrace NFTs should accept that their works are also considered as digital assets - which are much closer related to NFTs. This means that they should be open to having their art being exchanged from one collector to another for profit. That’s already a part of the game. Win-win for everyone involved.

Right after minting their art, their work does not end there. Some roles didn’t exist 12-24months ago. Who would have thought by now digital artists should have their own Twitter and discord servers. It is a must-have if you plan to get communities’ attention to your art.

It is no longer a one-man’s team. NFT projects are now considered collective efforts. At least not until automation and AI takes over some of the processes.
