Games on Kroma are boring, and I'm never going to touch them after this campaign. But given there's a cap of 20k for each quest in Wave 2 of the 2nd season, I completed all 7 tasks to position myself for the KRO airdrop. Some cost nothing to complete, and here's how much I paid for the entire campaign:Overview of Kroma's Pro Gamers CampaignKroma's Pro Gamers campaign awards you with Ore NFTs that are useful for the KCU portion of the KRO airdrop. I explained more in detail in the first wave of quests (still ongoing): Kroma's Pro Gamers Campaign Details Some quests in this wave are completely free, and I break them down below:#1-3: Zero On-Chain TasksGrouping them together as they have zero on-chain tasks:Dracora: Link to QuestNemesis Downfall: Link to QuestRPD Sailing Adventure: Link to Quest#4 Boom ArenaBoom Arena: Link to QuestThis is slightly more complicated where I had to create an account and link my wallet. But no fees were required to mint the NFT.#5 Tug of WarTug of War: Link to QuestThis quest does not require any on-chain task but requires some clicking. I verified this task after earning 500 Chips, which is done by clicking on this page. Your Power affects how fast you can click, but I managed to complete it in a few minutes.#6 XenobunnyXenobunny: Link to QuestYou could either play the game to get the Land NFT or spend 0.0005 ETH to mint it directly. I didn’t want to waste my time, so I minted it (about 1.2k NFTs left). The site defaults to minting on Scroll, so don’t forget to change both your wallet's network and the field here.#7 Dank KicksDank Kicks: Link to QuestA 50-50 chance of winning back your initial capital. The minimum prediction amount is 0.0003 ETH (~ $0.95). I lost the bet, but hope you’ll win yours.Total CostTotal cost: $1.52 This is cheaper than Wave 1 and is less time-consuming, so I believe it's worth doing it. Plus, gas on Kroma costs < $0.01 per transaction, so it's worth increasing your footprint on this L2.Claiming Mystic AlloysAfter completing all 7 tasks for Wave 2, I was eligible for 2 Mystic Alloy NFTs: Claim Mystic Alloys These are the refined version of Kroma Ores and can be combined for a KRO allocation. The mechanics of Kroma Ores can be confusing, and I plan to explain everything in a future post.
