An ordinary person walks into the library and sees a whole room full of books, and his eyes are drained. This is due to the fact that he has no particular interest in the knowledge of the world. It is not necessary for everyone to participate in the study of knowledge, but a special interest on the one hand is indeed indispensable for everyone. For example, when reading newspapers, some people like to read special news, some people like to read novels and literature, and some people like to read the market conditions. The first thing we do when we read is to develop a special interest. Some people read, just flip it over and put it aside; some people read, but they have to read from the first word to the last word. In fact, both methods are reasonable, but it is wrong to always use only one method, because we have too many books to read, if no matter which book we read from the first word to the last word, then , Human life is limited, how many books can one read in one lifetime? But there are a few books that must be read carefully when studying a certain kind of knowledge. If you just flip through it casually, you will not be able to understand the meaning of that kind of knowledge. The second thing to do when reading is to distinguish the priorities of books, to know which books must be read carefully, which books need only to be turned over, and which books need not be moved as long as they are placed on the shelf. I only checked it when I got it. We read to find a way to seek knowledge by borrowing the records in books, not to ask books to control our thoughts. Be suspicious when reading. In other words, criticize it with your own thoughts everywhere. As long as we dare to criticize, we can analyze which sentence is right, which sentence is wrong, and which sentence can be left for negotiation. These meanings can be written on the end of a book, or on a notebook. Whenever you have any doubts, check it out. If you have any questions in your mind, study it yourself. Not afraid of hands-on, willing to write and read, you can develop your own creativity. After a few years, it is natural to have the ability to control and apply this knowledge. The third thing we do when we read is to use our judgment. Books are a thing for us, as long as we have judgment. There are two more things that should be noted. First, there can be no prejudice. In the past, because of their deep prejudices, they only regarded the classics and history as the greatest knowledge, and all things other than the classics and history were regarded as sideways. As a result, not only have all kinds of learning been suppressed and not developed, but because of the underdevelopment of all kinds of learning, even the classics and history itself cannot be studied well. Recently, everyone feels that the country is weak and the people are poor, and they also think that only the science of political economy and the study of machine manufacturing are useful studies that can directly save the country, and the rest are insignificant decorations. This view is also wrong. The scope of knowledge is so vast, everything in the world is worth studying, even we human beings, after 10,000 years of study, we will still not be able to study it completely. Second, it should be appreciated. No matter what kind of knowledge, it is not independent, and there are many other studies related to it. If we want to study one kind of knowledge, we must have some appreciation for other kinds of knowledge, so that we can ask questions and ask experts in this field to solve them when they are related, or send these materials to experts in this field. Someone once said that we should prepare two mirrors when we study science: one is a microscope and the other is a telescope. Microscopes are used for one subject that they specialize in, and telescopes are used for other subjects. We need to be as precise as possible on one subject we study, and at the same time we need to know a little bit about each subject studied by others.
