As many of you know, OmniFlix is evolving into FLIX.fun - our vision for the next era of decentralized media beyond web3 limits.Why migrate from Cosmos to Ethereum/Base?It wasn't a question of "if" - it happened. Cosmos boasts an incredible tech stack (we started as FreeFlix Media, winners of Game of Zones in 2020, and have been deeply involved for over 6 years). But as we scaled consumer infrastructure, challenges like limited options for technical progress (misaligned with what the market needed), builder support, liquidity options (beyond Osmosis) and capital coordination have become clear challenges. As we build and work on creator/community tooling, Media DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) and app-layer tools remain core to us. By shifting to Ethereum/Base, we tap into:EVM composabilitymature toolingthe already massive distributionhigh-growth opportunities for stakeholders (creators and tokens)This stakeholder-driven decision prioritizes FLIX's long-term success. With a very heavy heart, we regret to inform every stakeholder that, we'll phase out the OmniFlix Hub appchain thoughtfully, aligning with our community. The final block will be produced in January 2026 and until then, key activities ensure a smooth transition.What's next for FLIX?We're rolling out long-overdue incentives via the Stakeholder Incentive Program (SIP), effective from today (October 15, 2025). These retroactively reward contributions from validators, media node hosts, creators, and long-term stakers. Token operations are evolving too:Trading & Liquidity UpdateDEX liquidity will shift from Osmosis to Base DEXs/CEXs/DeFi apps.CEX / MEXC has suspended FLIX trading due to the rebranding + token migration and will consider listing FLIX (issued on Base) when it goes live with revised tokenomics.Token Transformation:Details drop by/before October 18thFLIX (coin on OmniFlix Hub) transforms into a non-transferable fungible token (on Base) first.Technical Progress:60-80% complete on Base migrationInvite-only alpha next weekFull rollout to follow, powered by our Media DePIN infraDetails of the FLIX Stakeholder Incentive Program (FLIX-SIP)1) For ValidatorsSnapshot: Already taken; top 27 validators contacted.Top 27 Eligibility: Validators with ≥2.5M FLIX voting power receive additional foundation delegations (starting with 1M FLIX in the next 2 days) until the final block.Commitment: Run nodes until at least January 2026 (plenty of FLIX activities planned beforehand).Active Set Reduction: Proposal in discussion to cut to 27 validators.Not in Top 27? Inform delegators and shut down after October 31, 2025 (testnet nodes ASAP to save costs). Rewards based on historical participation - unaffected by early shutdown (just a bonus for running to the end). Additional infra factored in.Eligibility Marker: All eligible validators get 100 FLIX by October 25 - confirms final rewards and tracks wallets pre-migration. Rewards based on relative performance (interactions, views, engagement, media node utilization, etc.).Media Node Users: Extra rewards proportional to lease value/hours.Migration: One-click solution in weeks - no extra effort needed.Eligibility Marker: 100 FLIX by October 25 - confirms rewards and tracks wallets.
