Flix Fam, we've been heads down this week working on getting the upgrade ready for release. Here's a quick update on what we've been up to and what we're focusing on this week in the Flixverse.1] EngineeringCollection FeeThe current focus for the team has been primarily around updating the details around the fee charged for every collection created.The development is now completed and will be under testing this week before sharing the details with the rest of the community going forward.To start off with, the collection creation fee will be 0.1 FLIX considering that no creators will have FLIX and these work only on a referral or invite-only basis.Going forward, once the FLIX token is live on Mainnet, collection fee will be increased.All fees collected for collection creation will be sent to the community pool as an in-protocol revenue stream.Application EngineeringUpdates to the current apps can be seen both on OmniFlix Market and OmniFlix Studio.Updates to the Campaign page have been worked on and also taken down after the campaign. This campaign went well within a short amount of time and we are more than excited for all the campaigns coming up in the future.A screenshot of the OmniFlix MintFest 2022 campaign page2] Design & Media Updatesa) Product DesignWe have been focused on the design updates of the OmniFlix.market app aligned to the release of auctions and other updates on mainnet.This week’s focus was on inSync too during the course of the week where an updated version of inSync will be deployed to GitHub where validators can submit their information and keep it updated as required.We are still contesting whether or not this should be an update that has Preview of a page that provides information for validators to share with their community about their nodes across various networks.b) MediaThe Flix Crew has been working on MintFest and Cosmocon India 2022 promotions, creating launch creatives and other promotion materials.The team also produced visuals for #InTheSpotlight for the Curt Schilling and the HD Music NFT Twitter Spaces promotion.
