Welcome back, Flix Fam! Get ready for the 57th installment of our Community Update - your one-stop destination to catch up on all things OmniFlix. Buckle up as we delve into the recent, riveting developments that are shaping our space. Let's dive right in! 👇1) Protocol Engineering1.1) Preparation for the FlixDropAfter testing of the modules on devnet for 2+ weeks, the preparation for FlixDrop can be considered as completed on devnet.Last week, 120+ users tested campaigns on devnet and reported ease of use with the UI/UX that was deployed.Although the current UI is NOT the final version, the UX will remain more or less the same and received good feedback.The aim for the devnet was to test out the end points exposed, identify bugs with respect to the protocol itself, capture the data (and check data being sent as input and received as output), compatibility with UI/ledger-based signing, etc.This week, the plan is to coordinate with the node hosts of the testnet and upgrade the chain with all the features that are required to be tested publicly. This upgrade will include the following updates:Cosmos SDKComet (prev. Tendermint) consensusibcoNFT (fixes)marketplace (latest version of Auctions)Interact to Claim or itc module (new module)streampay module (new module)Once the testnet upgrades are completed, the apps will be updated (and will continue to be updated even during testnet) and users will be able to test the itc and streampay modules, simply using the UI.
