Welcome to Flooting Grooves Web3 Portal.
Some context.
Flooting Grooves is the solo project of Pearce van der Merwe, a citizen of Planet Earth. I have been producing psychedelic electronica since 2005, the silver flute being my first weapon of choice, melting, fusing and mixing friendly synthetic electronica with the world of acoustic sounds.
Since 2021 I have been dipping my toes into the world of Web3 through NFTs, however this is only the start !! A strong believer in the principles of Web3 like ownership of data, immutability, censorship resistance and sovereign ID, I feel that in our current geopolitical situation as well as environmental systems, there is a dire need to not only acknowledge, but to engage with the new systems being built.
Since Web3 is more inclined towards an economy of sharing, the idea is to come and collect/subscribe here in order to get rewards later on. People who collect every entry will get the maximum benefits (not limited to the free mint, gamification still in process).
Each entry is mintable as an NFT.
All content dropped here will eventually be available on Web2 (Spotify, YouTube, Apple music, Bandcamp etc).
I am incredibly excited to start cultivating community through direct engagement with the listeners on platforms like mirror.xyz, sound.xyz and others which I will communicate as we go along.
All FG content, including releases, collabs, giglists etc. will come through this channel first. Every 2nd week I will present a new entry here on Mirror, which is itself a collectable and can be minted as an NFT. Furthermore each entry will contain an embedded NFT (below), which will most likely will be a piece of music, accompanied by a visual artpiece of some kind.
