New markets are coming to Foil on Base! To celebrate, we’re kicking things off with our **April mainnet trading competition** — and we’re putting **real USDC rewards** on the line. This is your chance to dominate the **gas futures market** and walk away with serious bragging rights (and cash).

### **🏆 What’s At Stake?**

Top the leaderboard by racking up the most **absolute P&L** in weekly markets over April. The more you trade — and the better you trade — the bigger your profit, and the closer you are to the top.

**Scoring Method:**

**Total wstETH gained/lost** over April in all weekly markets. Monthly market(s) are excluded from the competition.

No fancy formulas. No gatekeeping. Just pure trading skill.

*   **Leaderboard updated as weekly markets settle throughout April.**
    
*   📢 **Winners Announced:** Promptly following competition end.
    
*   **Competition start:** April 1st, 2025; 00:00 GMT
    
*   **Competition ends:** April 29th; 23:59 GMT

*   🥇 1st Place: 2000 USDC
    
*   🥈 2nd Place: 1000 USDC
    
*   🥉 3rd-5th Place: 500 USDC
    
*   6th-8th Place: 150 USDC
    
*   9th & 10th Place: 50 USDC

### **🛠 How to Participate:**

1.  **Bridge to Base**→ Use your favorite bridge to send funds to the **Base network.**
    
2.  **Get wstETH**→ Acquire wstETH on Base, available on [swap.cow.fi](http://swap.cow.fi) or any other DEX aggregator.
    
3.  **Head to app.foil.xyz**→ Connect your wallet and select the ‘trade’ tab.
    
4.  **Trade Your Way to the Top**→ Every trade counts. Track your P&L and climb the leaderboard.
    
5.  **Follow Along**→ We’ll be dropping leaderboard updates and alpha in [Discord](https://discord.gg/foil). **Users need to be verified on Discord to be elegible for rewards.**
