Steak and Beans = FUnFU Studios has been innovating since the beginning, pushing the boundaries for Web3 gaming. Pleased to announce we are at it again with steak and beans 🥩 🫘 Melding gaming and DeFi into GameFi - we have now launched the ability for both players and non players/token holders to partner. OpenSeason players now have the ability to earn rewards through sponsorship from FU Money holders. The OS dashboard now includes a social rating for all players, a shop window where players compete to attract a sugar daddy in order to boost their in-game earnings. Players and sponsors receive additional rewards for alignment. In only 24 hours we have seen over 500 on chain transactions and almost 17m FU staked across a gamut of players!This is a new and unseen product in the world of Web3 gaming, all conceived and developed in house by our small team of dedicated developers.This team knows how to cook, believe me the kitchen is packed with pots about to boil over with tasty new meals for our players and happily now also for FU Money holders to feast on! So while we cook, we can adjust existing recipes and make beans taste even better. One of the main things we strived for since day one is for the game to be fun. Our community and the players' experience is what matters more than anything, so we want to make sure we do as much as possible to ensure players have fun and by association can be rewarded appropriately for their commitment. We are making a change to the way we run sessions that generate rewards. Previously all sessions that players initiated 24/7 would enable those players to earn rewards. We supplemented these daily sessions with three daily ranked sessions for the skill component. This always-on rewards system leads to a less optimized gaming experience and fractionalization of the player base and skill component. We are going to merge both the bean collecting and skill element into the same sessions. This will increase the intensity and fun of the games while additionally significantly increasing the reward to time played.We will now run three daily ranked sessions, only during these three sessions will beans spawn, performance during these three sessions now matters much more. Show up, win and grab those beans before your opponents. The sessions will run at 7am UTC, 4pm UTC and 8pm UTC. We will start to implement skill based matching and ping location matching so the experience is as fair as possible for all players. Staking is now even more compelling and exciting, who you sponsor and how they perform in these sessions will greatly impact your yield. As we can see from the first release of Steak and Beans, staking transactions volume is already showing huge potential as an activity driver for the blockchain layers OpenSeason will deploy on. Expect this to be increasing massively as we grow the user base of players and token holders.Another new development we are working on is for players to have the ability to start their own game sessions.This includes ability to whitelist who they want to allow to play, configure entry fees, prize pots and match type e.g. Death Match, Team DeathMatch, Squads and more new custom OS game types. So outside of the two daily rewards sessions, players, partners, guilds and more can run and manage their own experiences and communities, all powered by our Game Pass Pro system. Players can still play as often as they like, but crucially outside the three rewards windows it is on their own terms and with the tools/functionality to enhance their own experience and that of their communities.
