January is almost over 😦

This month really melted away, those of you that extended holiday breaks are probably looking like this Mr. Krabs meme right about now but I want to take this opportunity to remind you, and myself, to **go at your pace** and don't get caught up in the rat race of what others are doing.

**We've each got our own** **purpose** and circumstances to deal with to realize said purpose, with that should also come a **unique grace** that affords us the **time to deliver our** **best selves**.

Maybe it's the Twitter algorithm responding to the amount of funding that I've been applying for, but I wasn't exactly expecting to open the app and see a [Tech Crunch space](https://twitter.com/i/spaces/1eaKbrLrAYaKX?s=20) with real VC's talking so candidly about why VC's don't like funding black founders...but yes, please tell us why.
