As the mind is wont to wonder, wanders farther once enthralled, tears the eidolon asunder, brings iconoclastic sprawl Old, the ghosts of ling'ring thunder, beyond their shaded, looming pall, glares the ides of youth on yonder, kings and gods could not forestall Thus the new life grows from under, fonder Spring from sullen Fall, their ideas take their plunder, 'till ideas take us all
