# Humans Thoughts By [Geek Robots](https://paragraph.com/@geekrobots) ยท 2022-11-23 --- On my mind today: humans need pleasure ! ---------------------------------------- By pleasure, I mean real pleasure. The extreme pleasure. To reach the extreme pleasure, we have to go beyond the superficial pleasures guided by our thought: they give pleasure, but their absence can give us a higher pleasure very often, in the knowledge of our immediate thought. For example, eating a candy brings us a priori a complete pleasure. But wouldn't not eating it give us an even greater pleasure in the moment? In the moment, sugar brings pleasure to the brain, but the unconscious knows that it hurts our body and it also indicates this to the brain. Our thought sees the sugar 'conscious thought' but our 'unconscious' and deep thought sees the pain it gives us, in the moment. So, without talking about the long term and the effects of the candy, even in the present the pleasure we think of as 'absolute pleasure' is in fact not the most extreme pleasure we can get: that of not eating it. By not eating it, our conscious thought is frustrated, but our unconscious thought that manages our whole body and our being is relaxed and reaches the extreme pleasure, or at least is not hurt in the present moment. Many extreme pleasures, following this way of thinking, can be produced by decreasing the number of our daily actions: less negative actions, more emptiness which is creator of the whole. Extreme pleasure is also found by being in tune with the present moment: appreciating each moment and each action we do, starting from the simple breathing or observation of our thoughts coming and going. Starting from this present moment and from this deep reflection of following the real and extreme pleasure, it is possible to make adapted choices in terms of food, sport, meetings, work, etc: they will be naturally adapted to what we are now and to what we see as an ideal to create for the world and for ourselves.
