# When airdrop on SNS?

The Sui Name Service (SNS) plans to launch an airdrop event approximately one month after the Sui Mainnet release or when 250,000 registrations are reached. The airdrop will be distributed to the following groups:

1.  Discord roles: Stork, Stork+ & Super-Stork
    
2.  Early Registers
    
3.  SNS Core Team & Advisors
    

To be eligible to receive the airdrop, you will need to be a member of the SNS community and have completed certain requirements, such as earning a Stork role on the Discord server or being an early registrant on the SNS platform.

To take part in the airdrop, you will need to have a Sui wallet address and be sure to register your wallet address on the SNS platform. Once the airdrop is launched, the tokens will be distributed to the eligible addresses. It is important to note that the distribution of the tokens is not controlled by the SNS team, but by the Sui team.

It’s important to keep track of the SNS announcements on Twitter, as they will inform you when the airdrop will happen, and any other important details.

It is also important to note that the SNS is currently only available on Sui Devnet, and the Mainnet release is rumored to release in Q1 2023.
