我们必须感谢康德对于思/thinking , 与知 / Knowing , 理性/ Reason 与睿智 / Intelligence 的区分。他还写下有必要偶尔拒绝知识，为信仰留下空间。

犹太人一直持续不懈地参与德国人组织的知识竞赛活动。

康德奠定了系统的形而上的基础，这也成为他留给德意志后代的一个馈赠。看起来，这个馈赠已经变成对整个形而上体系的一次破坏。

康德把思与知分开，为信仰留下空间，或者说，只有这样，才能消除（理性对其自身的障碍）。

阿伦特笔下没有思考能力的普通人与平庸的恶：一个人拒绝思考，他就交出了人类独有的特质，没有能力做出道德判断。没有了思考能力，让普通人犯下严重罪行。

阿克曼不是普通人，阿伦特也不是普通人，阿克曼批判耐克公司居然在广告语词中使用---（ Never Again) --- 这是不普通人，有能力思考之后的行动吧？

阿伦特：几年前，我在报道艾希曼案件审理过程中，提到了“ 恶的平庸性” ； 这即非理论概念，也不是教义信条，而是十分具体的东西。作恶者唯一的人格特征就是一种超乎寻常的浅薄。

这个浅薄特征，看起来跟随着每一个德国人。不知道此处的跟随，是否包括那些德国犹太人？

德意志普通人只希望看到结论，却不在乎康德教育的，必须区别（ 思，知，真理，意义）； 请注意：真理和意义这二个语词是突然冒出来的。阿伦特，你要干什么。你反复说：你正在阅读帕拉图的第七封信。你是准备邀请帕拉图参与你的新审判吗？

你的结尾是这样的：任何拥有思考能力的人，知道文字弱点的人，不会冒险著述思想；何况是放在信件这类没有弹性的格式中。

Portrayal in fiction about James Hinton

Because of his association with Sir William Withey Gull , Hinton has been indirectly associated with the murdes of Jack the Ripper .

In their fictional graphic novel on the Ripper , From Hell , authors Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell extend Hilton's concern over social problems to prostitution in Whitechapel , which became the hunting grounds for the Ripper after his death .

This suggestion is that his concern over prostitution among the lower classes greatly influenced William Gull , who was put forward as a Ripper suspect in Stephen Knight's 1976 book , Jack the Ripper : The Final Solution .

Sir William Gull features in theories and fictional works in connection with the Whitechapel Jack the Ripper murders of 1888 . These are sometimes associated with variants of conspiracy theories involving the Royal Family and the Freemasons .

In From Hell , James Hinton is portrayed as an idealistic doctor given to " passionate outburst " and flights of metaphysical theorising and speculation . His character is used as a complementary figure to the more worldly --- and less compassionate -- Dr Gull . 在不经意间，突然情绪的聚集，精神算力突然发作，
