# Getaverse Incentivized Node Testnet

After several months of development, Getaverse is proud to announce the launch of the Getaverse incentivized node testnet on December 26, 2022. Along with the booming Getaverse node sales in October 2022, Getaverse has sold 5000+ nodes so far. And the number of nodes participating in the test network validation has reached 2,000+ across the network, with the number of test nodes growing steadily every day. There is no doubt that Getaverse is becoming one of the most popular Web3 projects in this bear market.

Getaverse is ready for its node testnet launch, and now users can verify blockchain data directly from their devices. In the spirit of building in the open with the community, we have prioritized getting community feedback quickly. And thanks for your patience. We look forward to receiving your valuable feedbacks.

  

The Getaverse team has tested and fixed bugs during the last 3 months, we want to ensure that users have good interoperability experience when the Getaverse node testnet opens to the public. The Getaverse node testnet is incentivized and do not miss out on this unique opportunity to participate in a fast-growing ecosystem. Meanwhile the Getaverse Credit System is still in an internal test development and will be public soon.

### Participants

1\. Getaverse node owners. Getaverse has sold 3000+ nodes so far. The Getaverse node owners can participate in testnet verification now, and get $wGETA testnet tokens which can be converted to $GETA tokens for the Getaverse mainnet at a certain percentage.

### The incentives

1\. The node owners will receive GETA tokens as a reward for running the Getaverse eco-node validation. 55% of the total amount of GETA tokens (2.75 billion) will be awarded to Getaverse node operators, and the tokens will not be destroyed, and the node production will be halved every year until it is finished.

2\. IDO Whitelist. All node addresses enjoy the Getaverse ecological whitelist and have the right to participate in advance and airdrop rights of all Getaverse ecological IDO projects. It is a long-term right that will increase with Getaverse business growth and ecological development.

3\. DAO Reward. Getaverse DAO Foundation holds 8% GETA tokens, and 1% GETA tokens ( 50 million GETA tokens) will be unlocked online to reward DAO ecology node contributors.

### Purchase Tutorial:

1\. Get the invitation from the Getaverse community mod.

2\. Enter the Getaverse website - [https://getaverses.com/nodes](https://getaverses.com/nodes)

3\. Connect the wallet (BNBChain network).

4\. Click “Purchase Node”.

5\. Select the number of nodes you purchased.

6\. Check the Order information and Confirm.

7\. Click “Purchase Node”  then Sign in to your wallet.

### Invitation Tutorial:

2\. Input the wallet address of your invited friend and click confirm to invite successfully.

Note: 1. If you don't have a node, you can't invite your friends; 2. Invite a friend to successfully purchase the Getaverse nodes, the inviter will receive 10% of the purchase price as an invitation bonus. In addition, the inviter will also receive 10% of the GETA tokens produced by the invited friend’s node every day.
