# Getaverse Monthly Report — March By [Getaverse](https://paragraph.com/@getaverse-2) · 2023-04-04 --- INTRODUCTION ============ Getaverse is building a sustainable credit protocol based on the Web3 ecosystem. It allows users to accumulate credits in the Web3 world, and aims to create a decentralized society where identity value is owned by users. With the development of Web3 and the metaverse, a credit system based on DID digital identity will become the most important trusted traffic portal in the virtual world. Getaverse is visioning to become the largest trusted platform based on the DID credit system, empowering the full ecological application of Web3 innovative products. MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS =================== March 3rd - Getaverse co-hosted the Web3 Builders Networking in Denver with Waterdrip Capital, Yeet, OnePiece Labs, and AIGPT. March 10th - Getaverse co-hosted the opportunity of ChatGPT & AI x Web3 Workshop & Networking in San Francisco. Guests at the event included OpenAI, Google AI, Amazon AI, Coinbase, HashKey Capital, KuCoin Labs, etc. March 10th - Getaverse hosted a Twitter space on the topic of “Web3 Social and on-chain interaction - How to safeguard on-chain assets and identify authentication?”. Guests on the space included Getaverse CEO Ryan, Freeper co-founder Penny, ONTO ecosystem lead Erick, Branche founder Chong. March 11th - Getaverse was invited to be a guest at the 7 o'Clock Capital offline Investment Meeting in Hong Kong. March 15th - Getaverse CEO Ryan attended the BSCDaily AMA at Binance Live. March 16th - Getaverse signed up for the IKA Block Hong Kong Web3 Demo Day (online) hosted by IKA Block, Alibaba Cloud, and Avalanche. March 20th - Getaverse won third prize at the first Web3 Entrepreneurship Competition organized by the Vancouver Metaverse Academy in collaboration with the Canadian Association for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and UBC BizChina Club. March 21st - Getaverse attended the ByTrade Exchange x 7oClockCapital Investment Cocktail Reception in Dubai. March 22nd - Getaverse DID platform officially went live. And to celebrate the launch of Getaverse DID, we launched the ILIAD event. Getaverse participated in Afflux Korean Demo Day (online) along with over 40 Korean local and global VCs. March 23rd - Getaverse announced a new advisor Dr. Wang, a blockchain professor at UBC University in Canada. Getaverse participated in KuCoin Labs Demo Day (online) along with KuCoin Labs and its related VC partners. March 24th - Getaverse Iliad Event Part 2 ( Galxe\_GETA SBT) launched and the DID platform users reached 3k in 2 days. March 27th - Getaverse Community Appreciation Event Round 5 started on March 27th at 12:00AM(UTC) and ending on April 3rd at 12:00AM(UTC). March 28th - Getaverse Iliad Event Part 3 ( LENS\_GETA SBT) launched. March 29th - Getaverse successfully closed a funding round with AC Capital, and launched Getaverse community events in Discord, SoQuest, Denet. ECOSYSTEM HIGHLIGHTS -------------------- 1. Getaverse DID platform and ILIAD events launched. And the credentials SBT claimed 24k+, DID users reached 8.7k in a week. 2. Getaverse won 3rd prize at the first Web3 Entrepreneurship Competition organized by the Vancouver Metaverse Academy in collaboration with the Canadian Association for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and UBC BizChina Club. 3. Getaverse got an investment from AC Capital which is a prominent investment firm that focuses on blockchain and fintech industries. 5.
