Before Covid-19 i used to work as an event project manager and part-time model. Things were going well for me until the world went mad and pandemic shut the economy off. That was a moment i realized that sooner or later i need to get a skill/tool that would make me able to have an income independently from a location. I’ve attended Web Developer Bootcamp and a short term after I saw a video about blockchain. Since that time i went into ctypto rabbit hole where i remain untill now.
No wonder that crypto space is very attractive for tech talents. You would ask why? My answer is they have more freedom here than in web 2. We are still early, aren’t we ? That is what every degen screams out loud to their audience. Hence, early → less regulations → more freedom → huge room for inovations. That is what keeps me excited even during winter times when there is nothing much happening and motivation is on all-time low level, remember it’s just the beggining.
Unlike web2 web3 is mostly handled in opensource. Means anyone can contribute to the project by finding, resolving, fixing bugs and issues. Same goes to non tech enviroment. There are many varieties of contribution you can make in order to support projects. It can be memes, tech articles, work with community, design etc. Web3 hands an opportunity to become part of decentralized future to anyone who’s keen to adopt new technologies. One of the most exciting things is that web3 projects value their active community and early supporters so they usually providing pleasant rewards as “Thank you, for your faith in us”.
If you are in Web3 already the most challenging thing is a need to constantly learn and aquire new skills. It can be devastating but if you enjoy what you do and discipline yourself the outcome won't be long awaited. This is happening due to early stage of developement and adoption, nowadays people compare crypto with WEB in 1990s. As of 09.08.2022 crypto market cap is 1 trillion, to compare S&P 500 market cap is 31 trillion. As a conclusion crypto and web3 is a tiny niche which doesn’t sleep and 1 day is equal to 1 year in traditional markets. It’s young, it’s wild, it’s revolutionary! I’m glad I’m here!
