# GM Farcaster: prepping for our birthday! *Celebrating one year on Friday the 13th; plus catch up on last week's episodes* By [GM Farcaster](https://paragraph.com/@gmfarcaster) · 2024-09-08 gm farcaster, farcaster, nfts, blockchain, cryptocurrency --- **GM Farcaster is turning one!** We're celebrating our birthday on Friday September 13th with a 24 hour stream! We'll start with episode 155 then we'll watch and live react to episode 1. We'll be chatting with some of our Farcaster friends, as well as streaming replays of some of our favorite episodes, AND we'll preview The State of Farcaster research report with Snickerdoodle. Plus two other special episodes coming up this week: on Monday we'll be chatting with Jared [**@javabu.eth**](https://warpcast.com/javabu.eth) about the [**/advocacy**](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/advocacy) channel and [**Stand with Crypto**](https://warpcast.com/standwithcrypto). On Wednesday we'll have stand up comedienne [**Kerri Louise**](https://kerrilouise.com/) on to chat about her new live stream. Lots of fun and laughs await! ![](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/cd4c33218d4dbde3f7e3a6f79873f258.png) * * * We had a great week with our usual streams plus a watch party for the latest GM Farcaster Here for the Art by [**Renee Campbell**](https://warpcast.com/reneecampbell). Her amazing piece [**Blurred Lines**](https://zora.co/collect/base:0x73b2bdee3c89ff52e3ddb398d740dc0968c1f1b4/9) is available to mint now. And check out the episode where we chat about Renee's artist journey and her Farcaster journey! Thank you Renee for blessing the FC timeline with amazing art! ![](https://zora.co/api/thumbnail/8453/0x73b2bdee3c89ff52e3ddb398d740dc0968c1f1b4/9) [Collect NFT](https://zora.co/collect/base:0x73b2bdee3c89ff52e3ddb398d740dc0968c1f1b4/9?referrer=0x5e7Ac26ab6240225569f3BDD6589C6397aC3E07f) [![](https://paragraph.xyz/editor/youtube/play.png)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzmQT5CKLeA) * * * ### GM Farcaster episode 150, September 2, 2024 In this GM Farcaster episode, the @nounishprof and @adrienne gleefully welcome Snickerdoodle as their new sponsor, while jokingly lamenting that their only observed holiday is Bitcoin Pizza Day because, well, they’re too busy "founder mode-ing" to care about traditional days off. Plus Adrienne celebrates her 5 timer jacket for top caster rewards. Welcome our new premiere partner -- Snickerdoodle! [**Check out their surveys**](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/sharetoearn) as they get ready for The State of Farcaster report. We also dropped a fun [**GMFC x Snickerdoodle NFT to all our hypersub holders**](https://warpcast.com/nounishprof/0xd6782391)! Between jokes about betting on poop emojis and an ongoing existential debate about someone named Ted's position in a mysterious Fortuitous Fourteen, this news team is clearly more concerned with laughs than logistics! ACTUALLY it’s not Bass -- welcome to our new premiere partner **BASE**! We’ve always been powered by Base but now it’s official! Thank you Base for supporting GM Farcaster! [![](https://paragraph.xyz/editor/youtube/play.png)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Irpe8F-VVFU) * * * ### GM Farcaster episode 152, September 6, 2024 From our ChatGPT intern: In this episode, the hosts discuss the joys of accommodating sleepy West Coasters, marvel at a beautiful art piece called "Blurred Lines," and stumble hilariously over the term "fardist" (farcaster artist), which sounds like something far stinkier. Robin from Moshicam makes a classic "can't hear you" guest entrance, while the crew uncovers the deep mystery of the "Lincoln Cabal" — spoiler: it's just a reference to Lincoln on the $5 bill, a fact that had the hosts feeling pretty, well, bankrupt! Thank you [**@robin**](https://warpcast.com/robin) [**/moshicam**](https://warpcast.com/~/channel/moshicam) for popping by to chat on this Happy Friday! [![](https://paragraph.xyz/editor/youtube/play.png)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jcf4R4zuDOo) * * * Looking forward to a great week ahead! Including the 24 hour stream! See you in the GM! ![](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/687a575495e441751451e7a0bf675371.png) * * * ### **And our musings elsewhere:** **Learn more about sponsoring GM Farcaster:** **About:** [https://paragraph.xyz/@adrienne/an-invitation-to-sponsor-gm-farcaster](https://paragraph.xyz/@adrienne/an-invitation-to-sponsor-gm-farcaster)   **Interest Form:** [https://app.deform.cc/form/bbd8c3b1-a67b-45c9-a568-39c6f38ec14a/](https://app.deform.cc/form/bbd8c3b1-a67b-45c9-a568-39c6f38ec14a/) **Adrienne: Some of the Things: Warning Post too Long** [https://someofthethings.substack.com/p/warning-post-too-long](https://someofthethings.substack.com/p/warning-post-too-long) **FC Scenius Lexicon project:** [https://paragraph.xyz/@danicaswanson/the-farcaster-scenius-lexicon](https://paragraph.xyz/@danicaswanson/the-farcaster-scenius-lexicon) **And Adrienne’s Podcast – Four Old College Friends:** [https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/four-old-college-friends/id1700592867?i=1000631680007](https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/four-old-college-friends/id1700592867?i=1000631680007) **Nounish Prof: Unpacking with Prof:** [https://paragraph.xyz/@nounishprof](https://paragraph.xyz/@nounishprof) AND [www.gmfarcaster.com](http://www.gmfarcaster.com) **is live along with a new GM Farcaster FAQ:** [https://paragraph.xyz/@adrienne/gm-farcaster-faq](https://paragraph.xyz/@adrienne/gm-farcaster-faq) **AND GM Farcaster is now available everywhere you get your podcasts including** [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/@GMFarcaster)**,** [Apple podcasts](https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/gm-farcaster-21-minutes-of-farcaster-news/id1715962926) **and** [Spotify](https://open.spotify.com/show/0mskFuV0hSlE21Tn3M9kjo)**!** **Copyright 2024 cc-by GM Farcaster - reuse/remix allowed with attribution and link back to** [**GMFarcaster.com**](http://GMFarcaster.com)**.** **NOTE:** Cryptocurrencies are often volatile assets.
