Today, we are thrilled to announce that GOEMON has officially launched on testnet. GOEMON leverages DeFi-fixed yield through options trading, allowing users to maximize their yield while maintaining full control of their assets on self-custody environment.

To get started, [goes to testnet](https://testnet.goemon.xyz/) and click "Sign In" button located at the top right corner of the page. You’ll need to connect your wallet to interact with the testnet.

### How to Deposit USDC on the Testnet

*   Prepare both **Testnet USDC** and **ETH** (for gas fees) by using the following faucets:[USDC Testnet Faucet](https://faucet.circle.com/)[ETH Testnet Faucet](https://cloud.google.com/application/web3/faucet/ethereum/sepolia)
    
*   Once you have your Testnet USDC and ETH, click "Deposit" [on the testnet](https://testnet.goemon.xyz/) to make your deposit.

### How to Submit an Order on the Testnet

*   After successfully depositing USDC on the testnet, goes to the [Trade section](https://testnet.goemon.xyz/trade).
    
*   Input the cost, and submit an order.

### Explore Strategies (View-Only Mode)

[The Strategies section](https://testnet.goemon.xyz/trade/strategies) **is the most exciting features of GOEMON !!!**

With just a few clicks, users can utilize fixed DeFi yields to purchase options and boost their profits. We offer strategies to maximize BTC, ETH, and USD yields ~100% APY or more, with principal protected.

While this section is currently in **view-only mode** on the testnet, you can explore the PNL and payout simulation. Be patient, as the mainnet launch is just around the corner! Make sure not to forget to apply for early access to the mainnet from [here](https://tally.so/r/3xypK9).

### Bear Vault

**The Bear Vault is designed to help hedge your portfolio without paying costs.** This strategy uses USDC fixed-yield to purchase a put option, providing exposure to market downside that can compensate for potential losses for a market crash.

Steps:

1.  Lock USDC into the Bear Vault.
    
2.  If crypto prices drop, the vault will pay you additional yield.
    
3.  If crypto prices rise, you can still withdraw the full USDC amount of your initial deposit.

### Bull Vault

\*\*The Bull Vault is perfect for users who looking to maximize ETH or BTC yield.\*\*This vault uses ETH/BTC fixed-yield to purchase a call option, enabling you to maximize BTC/ETH yield towards end of this year.

Steps:

1.  Lock ETH or WBTC into the Bull Vault.
    
2.  If crypto prices rise, the vault will pay you more yield.
    
3.  If crypto prices drop, you can still withdraw the full ETH / WBTC amount of your initial deposit.

### Leverage Fixed Yield

When you click the **Leverage** checkbox, it automatically aggregates and borrows yield-generating assets from DeFi lending protocols to maximize fixed yield.

With the **leverage** function, you will expect much higher yields, but there is a risk of liquidation if a significant depeg occurs in borrowing yield-generating asset.

You can track your submitted orders in the portfolio section. On the mainnet, you'll also have the option to close positions at any time from this section.
