What does "MEDERU" mean?
------------------------

めでる (愛でる / 芽でる) is a Japanese word with a layered, untranslatable meaning.

It means to admire with deep affection — to look at something beautiful and feel something real.

It also means to bud, as in a plant putting out new growth. The kanji 芽出る literally means "a sprout emerges."And your eyes pop out in surprise!! 目出る

MEDERU is both: a place to appreciate art deeply, and a place where new creative voices can emerge.

  

_Concept_

"Space to appreciate artwork." While Objkt.com is a "huge marketplace," **mederu** aims to be a "select shop-like creative space." Rather than efficient buying and selling, **mederu**s front-end focuses on an emotional experience: feeling the heartbeat of the artist, cherishing the collection, and sharing it with others.
