# Evmos airdrop to receive graphic tutorial(Reprinted from@iDeFi100)

The Evmos chain is an EVM-compatible chain of the Cosmos ecosystem.

This chain is compatible with EVM. After attracting EVM developers to enter the ecosystem, the operation goal of this chain is to connect IBC assets and EVM assets. Therefore, from the design of the airdrop mission, its main goal should be to guide EVM users to use Cosmos' IBC.

There are four tasks to receive the airdrop, each of which unlocks 25% of the airdrop:

1.  IBC transfer, 25%
    
2.  Stake EVMOS to the node, 25%
    
3.  Governance voting, 25%
    
4.  Use EVM, 25%

The following screenshots are attached to introduce the detailed operation process:

1.  Prerequisites: Keplr wallet plugin, Osmosis token Keplr is the most used browser plug-in wallet in the Cosmos chain, download address: Keplr.app
    

Osmosis's token (OSMO), which can be purchased at app.osmosis.zone, is the largest multi-chain exchange in the Cosmos ecosystem. There are two easy ways to exchange for OSMO: Method 1: If you have played Terra, you can directly deposit (Deposit) UST or LUNA on the assets page (app.osmosis.zone/assets), and then go to Trade to directly change OSMO. The process is the same as depositing U and buying coins in a centralized transaction. Method 2: Buy ATOM from major exchanges and withdraw coins to the Cosmos Hub chain address, then, in the same way as above, deposit on the Osmosis asset page (app.osmosis.zone/assets), then Trade and exchange for OSMO.

The Deposit operation mentioned in the above two methods is equivalent to the deposit of CEX. This process itself is an IBC transfer.

Most of the IBC transfers of the Cosmos chain are operated in this way on the web page, which is extremely smooth. The IBC transfer mentioned later in this article is actually an advanced function, which is rarely used. It is only used when the front-end UI is not available, in order to get ahead and receive the airdrop early. The actual IBC is not so complicated.

1.  Find the wallet address of the Evmos chain: (1) Cosmos ecological airdrop users: Keplr wallet, cut to Evmos chain, copy Evmos chain address
    
2.  (2) Methods for Ethereum airdrop users to find Evmos addresses Go to [https://evmos.disperze.network/](https://evmos.disperze.network/) Connect the little fox, two wallets will be displayed in the lower left corner, there is the Evmos Address above the Ethereum address, click to copy.
    
3.  IBC transfer (1) Switch back to the Osmos chain, pull down, and find IBC Transfer
    
    If you don't have this button, you can find Settings in Keplr's wallet and turn on the IBC function.

In order to avoid misuse by everyone, the developer has disabled this function by default and needs to manually enable it. Normal IBC transactions are operated in the web UI, which is extremely smooth.)
    
    (2) Pull down and select New IBC Transfer Channel
    
    (3) Select Evmos (Beta) for the target chain, and fill in the channel ID completely: channel-204
    
    (4) Go back and start transferring money to the newly added target chain Select the Evmos (Beta) chain, fill in the Evmos wallet address just copied, and click Next
    
    (5) Select the amount, such as 0.1, click to confirm
    
    After completing this operation, the transfer operation from the Osmosis chain to the Evmos chain IBC is completed.
    
    Return to the main interface of the wallet and switch to Evmos. At this time, the balance of Evmos can be seen in the wallet.

    Select a node and complete the pledge operation (unlimited number).

    Select the latest proposal to complete the voting operation.
    
    After the above steps, you can unlock 3 tasks and receive 75% of EVMOS tokens.
    
    Another fourth task (25% of tokens) is the use of EVM, which needs to wait for an available EVM chain application before operating.​​​​
