A good summer. Continuous rain for half a month in Kyoto, shu kingdom, finally stopped raining. The sun after the rain glistened golden on the wet tiles of the Palace of Pleasure. Groups of magpies, flying from all directions, hovering above the Palace, chattering non-stop. Before the water in the street receded, a Taoist priest dressed in a long white robe, with dust in his hand, stepped on the water.
