# 水

水，汉语一级字，读作shuǐ，最早见于商代[甲骨文](https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E7%94%B2%E9%AA%A8%E6%96%87/16914) \[1\]  ，其本义是河流，引申泛指一切水域；又由表示无色无味的透明液体引申泛指某些液态物质；又由水静则平衍生出水准、用水测平的含义，即《[说文解字](https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E8%AF%B4%E6%96%87%E8%A7%A3%E5%AD%97/6180)》所谓的“准也”；还有游水、五行之一、生活在各类水体中的生物等含义。
