The wisest thing a man can realize is the fact that no matter what you do or don’t, human experience will take its course.
Patterns that prove to be efficient in a particular context will perpetuate, and patterns that don’t usually disappear in one form until they emerge again in a newer form. In other words, the same patterns interplay with each other; only the context makes it appear as if they’re a novelty.
Humans will do what humans do, and greater forces will do what greater forces do.
A wise human knows his place in the scheme of everything and only does what he’s inclined to do at a certain moment in the present. When uncertainty arises, a wise person knows that time will bring certainty in one way or another.
A wise man is always humble and confident because he knows what he’s been through to gain wisdom.
To become a wise man, you first have to banish the desire to be wise because it will stand in your way to gain wisdom; desire loves to yearn sometimes for nothing.
Embrace all that life has to give to you and play its games. Otherwise, you’ll miss the fun of overcoming.
Stand up for what you love, and don’t let anyone know about it; let them see it on their own.
When nothing hits you so hard, look the other way, and you’ll see everything.
Life is about equilibrium and lack of equilibrium; you can’t have one without the other. Lack of equilibrium always requires equilibrium to follow suit and vice versa.
Knowledge is always given to those who ask and put effort into looking for it. Knowledge sadly won’t come knocking on your door. And even if it did, you will learn nothing if you don’t have the will to learn.
Follow your good side and listen to your bad side, and don’t let them have a conflict of interests.
Render to God what is God’s, and render to Ceasar what is Ceasar’s.
