# introduction: the six note scale

a long (but not so very long) time ago, music, like the world, was created from its own natural principles. it evolved as a communication of sound with the creators that heard it, performed it, and made it unique.

In the following entries, I will explain this system of music as derived from its natural evolution, and why I believe it is now more important than ever to be used as a teaching tool, method, and system.

I will quote source examples from the ‘grand master’ composers themselves, and present pedagogical resources to frame my methodology;

my narrative will be relatable to all audiences, especially those in the realms of music theory, musicology, and performance;

and I implore my readers with excitement, to join along, share this knowledge with others, and express their own joys of music through the Hexachord System.
