# Arbitrum $ARB airdrop strategy

After the confirmation of [Optimism $OP](https://community.optimism.io/docs/governance/airdrop-1/#active-ethereum-participants) airdrop, there’s been a rumor that Arbitrum will do the same. Nothing is confirmed so far and no announcements have been made yet, also there has not been any leak, so don’t take it too seriously.

Arbitrum recently released their upcoming event “**The Arbitrum Odyssey**” starting in this month and users can get free NFTs for using 14 different protocols in Arbitrum which were selected from [Snapshot Voting](https://snapshot.org/#/arbitrum-odyssey.eth). Now coming to the retroactive airdrop speculation. If we set the Odyssey aside for a moment, some protocols reward users for previous acts. Because this event is highly marketed, we must presume that it will be heavily botted. So the more action you perform in the Arbitrum Odyssey event, the more you could get.

So if you ask me what I will do? Then here is the strategy I will follow…

1.  Bridge through the [official bridge](http://bridge.arbitrum.io)
    
2.  Make some trade in any of the Dex i.e Uniswap, Sushiswap, Hashflow etc.
    
3.  Mix some funds via [Twister Cash](https://twitter.com/twister_cash) a Tornado fork. (Optional)
    
4.  Playing some money with Options trading (Optional)
    
5.  Buy protection for your assets. You can use [Riskharbor](https://twitter.com/riskharbor) (Optional)
    
6.  Bridge Back using 3rd Party Bridgedoors i.e [Hop Protocol](https://app.hop.exchange/)
    

Please remember not to do any type of Sybil Attacks. This is not only bad for the protocol but sometimes projects exclude them too. For example, take a look at [DexGuru](https://dex.guru) or Hop Protocol airdrops. They not only excluded them but also insisted other users to find them out with incentives.
