# Graphic design

Its practice involves [creativity](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creativity), [innovation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Innovation) and [lateral thinking](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lateral_thinking) using manual or [digital tools](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer-aided_design), where it is usual to use text and graphics to communicate visually.
