Initiatives include legislation and policy reforms, increased access to education, social protection programs, awareness campaigns, and the promotion of responsible business practices. The International Labour Organization (ILO) has been at the forefront of these efforts, advocating for the eradication of child labor and providing guidelines for its elimination. It is crucial to recognize the inherent rights of children to be protected from exploitation and to have access to education, health, and overall well-being. Eliminating child labor requires a comprehensive approach that addresses the root causes of the issue, including poverty, lack of education, and inadequate social support systems.
